Kingston Communications
Brief: The initial brief was two-fold: Kingston Communications, an independent telecommunications supplier required two solutions within their Customer Services area. The first was to develop a facility that would reduce customer waiting times. The second to provide a unit which could be used to effectively promote the history of the company, give details of the services available and show any new developments within the organisation. ![]() Solution: From first initial brief, illustrations were created to give the client a feel for what was in mind. A unit that could deal with general customer enquiries, leaving front-line Customer Services to deal with more complex issues. In order to do this the fixture was designed to specifically incorporate telephones with direct phone links to the office based Customer Services personnel. The effect was to effectively reduce customer waiting times. The second unit was constructed using the same materials, but designed to incorporate an interactive touch screen. Both units were designed and installed to be in keeping with the current Kingston Communications Customer Services area. Both projects were successful in achieving their objectives.
